Shana Telesz
Shana was born in Youngstown, Ohio. She attended West Virginia University and graduated with a B.S. degree in Industrial & Management Systems Engineering. She joined General Electric as a Technical Director in Rail Field Services in Barstow, CA. She then moved to the Inspection Technologies business, now Waygate Technologies in 2005 as an Operations Leader. Shana held various Radiography Product Management launching several key products and technologies to the industry and is currently the leader of the Product Management team.

ASNT NDT Level III: PT, MT, RT, UT
As an ASNT member for 32 years and current Lifetime Member, Riggs serves as the Vice President of Quality & Technical Services at Union Tank Car Company & Procor Limited, which are part of Marmon Holdings/Berkshire Hathaway. In this role, he manages various key functions such as NDT, welding/materials/coatings engineering, regulatory and industry affairs, innovation and quality assurance.
He began his NDT career in 1992 as an entry-level technician at a pipe mill and obtained his first ASNT Level III certification in 1997. In addition to his ASNT NDT III certification, he also holds CWI and CWE certifications from the American Welding Society and is a graduate on the Lone Star College (formally North Harris College) NDT and Materials Science Program.
With extensive experience spanning industries like railcar and oil/gas, he has spent twenty-eight years in managerial positions, with twelve years in an executive/group-level role overseeing up to 140 facilities across three countries. His expertise lies in driving innovation, process improvement, strategic planning, mitigating risks and managing people. Apart from technical responsibilities, he has led business startups, supported acquisitions, served as a corporate representative for multiple litigations and was a Chief Compliance Officer. He has been actively engaged in regulatory and government affairs for twelve years, advocating for industry interests and shaping policies to support performance-based regulations and workforce development.
